Jeri Hilley went to be with the Lord on February 25, 2021. She was born on September 23, 1939 in Lufkin, Texas to parents Edwin and Suella Phelps. Jeri was a loving mother, a faithful wife, and an incredible, fun, out-going, woman of faith. She pastored Eastgate Church along with her husband for 42 years.
She was preceded in death by her son, Randal Lee Hackleman and her husband Gerald Payne Hilley. Left to cherish her memories are her son Jeffrey Scot and daughter-in-law Eileen Hackleman, her three grandchildren and their spouses, Rachel Grace Callaway and Andrew Callaway, Sarah Faith
Schlotte and Joshua Schlotte, John Michael Hackleman and Brittany Joy Hackleman, seven great grandchildren: Bridger Callaway, Noah Callaway, Evangeline Callaway, Zion Callaway, Brecklynn Schlotte, Gracelynn Schlotte, Zeeland Hackleman and loving sister Marjie Marullo and husband Joe.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Eastgate Church, followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
