Margaret Alice Sutton, 82, born January 17, 1932 entered into eternal rest September 1, 2014. Maggie was a devoted Eastern Star member for 60+ years and was very involved in the Aldine Alumni, Class of 1949. She loved gambling, wrestling, football and taking cruises. Maggie is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Earl Sutton; sons: Carl Vernon Sligar and Michael Warren Sligar; daughter, Carol Elaine Sligar and granddaughter, Lindsey Michelle Sligar. Left to cherish her memories: daughter, Cathy Williamson and husband Steve; son, Jack Sligar Jr. and wife Valerie; daughter, Cindy McGehee and husband David; grandchildren: Dell Hutto and wife Beth, Karen Jones, Stephen McGehee and Kathleen, Amanda Hutto, Greg Williamson, Jesse Neal and husband Aaron; "her greats": Kayleigh, Bailey, Cody, Kaden, Jace, Sonya, Wyatt, Jaxson and Kannon. Visitation will be Thursday, September 4th from 6-8pm. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 5th at 10am in the Family Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
