Maria Del Socorro Ibarra Capetillo (Momo) was born on December 7, 1929 in Waelder, Texas. She is preceded in death by Pedro Ibarra, Sr. (father), Margarita Banda (Mother), Asencion Gonzales (first husband), Alfredo Ibarra (brother), Maria Villalobos (sister), and many other family members. She is survived by Felipe Capetillo (husband), Robert Ibarra (son), Rosalinda Rameriz (daughter), Patricia Gonzales (daughter), and Rodolfo (Rudy) Gonzales (son). As well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She worked as a nanny for most of her life and the children she cared for continued to keep in touch with her, even after she retired at the age of 82. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church where she spent a lot of time in Chapel. Maria was a loving, caring person. She was very independent and strong willed or some may say stubborn. However, she was the glue that held our family together. She will be missed by all and will live on in our hearts forever.
