Maria Espinosa, 93, passed away on December 2, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family in Richmond, Texas. Maria was born on March 1, 1929 in Mexquitic de Carmona, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Maria immigrated to the United States in 1949 to provide her family with more opportunities. She was married to the late Jesus Espinosa, who passed away in 1982. Maria had many close friends and neighbors wherever she lived, in the Rio Grande Valley, Galveston, Houston, Katy, and most recently in Richmond, Texas. Maria also worked tirelessly nearly 40 years providing home care for disabled patients. She had a keen sense of humor and was delightful to be around. After her retirement, Maria enjoyed frequent walks and chatting with her neighbors, and she was active in helping watch and care for children and pets. Maria is survived by her daughter Laura, grandchildren Blake, Niko, and Lance, son-in-law Tom and many nieces and nephews in both Texas and Mexico.
