Maria Garcia Flores

Maria Garcia Flores, a beloved and kind-hearted individual, passed away on September 12, 2025, at the age of 94. Maria was born on July 25, 1931, in Brownsville, Texas to her cherished parents, Agapito and Natividad Garcia. She resided in Houston, Texas, where she created a life full of love and warmth surrounded by her family and community.

Maria was married to Horacio G. Flores, with whom she shared a fulfilling life and raised six children. Their union was a testament of love and partnership.

Maria was a member of St. Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church, where she was also a member of The Guadalupanas Group, and Grupo de Oracion.

Maria is preceded in death by her husband Horacio G. Flores and her son Roberto L. Flores. She is survived by her loving children Carl Flores (and wife Melba), Jaime Flores Sr, Sally Flores, Mary Ann Cruz, Christela Williams, and her daughter-in-law Sixta Flores. Her legacy continues through her 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, all of whom remember her with deep admiration and affection.

A Visitation will be held at St Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church, located at 5430 W Ridgecreek Dr, Houston, TX 77053, on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A rosary will take place at 5:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Mass at the same church on the same day.

María García Flores, una persona querida y de buen corazón, falleció el 12 de septiembre de 2025, a la edad de 94 años. María nació el 25 de julio de 1931 en Brownsville, Texas de sus queridos padres, Agapito y Natividad García. Residió en Houston, Texas, donde creó una vida llena de amor y calidez, rodeada de su familia y comunidad.

María estuvo casada con Horacio G. Flores, con quien compartió una vida plena y criaron a seis hijos. Su unión fue un testimonio de amor y compañerismo.

María fue precedida en la muerte por su esposo Horacio G. Flores y su hijo Roberto L. Flores. Le sobreviven sus queridos hijos Carl Flores (y su esposa Melba), Jaime Flores Sr., sus hijas Sally Flores, Mary Ann Cruz, Christela Williams y su nuera Sixta Flores. Su legado continúa a través de sus 15 nietos y 20 bisnietos, quienes la recuerdan con profunda admiración y afecto.

Maria era miembro de la Iglesia Catolica San Marcos El Evangelista, en donde también era miembro del Grupo Guadalupana y Grupo de Oración.

Se llevará a cabo una Visita en la Iglesia Católica San Marcos El Evangelista, ubicada en 5430 W Ridgecreek Dr, Houston, TX 77053, el jueves 18 de septiembre de 2025, de 4:00 pm a 8:00 pm. Un rosario tendrá lugar a las 5:00 pm, seguido de una Misa Funeral que se celebrará en la misma iglesia el mismo día.
