Maria is survived by her brother Ressureccion L. Espina, her sister Leonila E. Glimes, her sister Dina E. Schmidt, her brother Mansueto L. Hardin, her sister Rosalina E. Rednak, her sister Marietta E. Handin and her sister Carmencita E. Bato.

Maria was preceded in death by her father Jose E. Espina and her mother Lolita L. Espina; her sister Casimere E. Davalos; her brother Ranulfo L. Espina; her brother Jose L. Espina and her brother Antonio L. Espina; her grandfather Ceferino E. Espina, and her grandmother Celedonia E. Espina.

A visitation for Maria will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022, followed by a funeral service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
