She was born in Tampico, Mexico and grew up in Laredo, Texas where she graduated from Ursuline Academy. Luisa graduated from the Career Academy in Houston, Tx at the top of her class. She worked for Dr. Schoverling for many years and retired from Esprectra Dental Care.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Teresa R. Kodama.
Survivors included her husband, Angel Vicencio of Houston; her sister Rosa L. Brooks and her husband Robert L. Brooks of Dallas; an aunt, Cayetana Reyes of Houston; many cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
There will be visitations from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013 at Forest Park Funeral Home on 12800 Westheimer Road.
The mass will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on 501 Tidwell, Houston, Tx. 77022 at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013. Interment following the mass at Forest Park Funeral Home.
