Marilyn Louise (Von Gundy) Sanders , 82, crossed over on August 2, 2012. She lost a short bout with her heart and went to our Lord in a more peaceful place. Marilyn was born in Pueblo, Colorado on July 18, 1930. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Vernon Sanders, her son Michael Sanders and spouse Berta of Zacary, La. And her daughter Gail Lea Zuzula and spouse Michael of Millcreek, Wa. She is further survived by seven Grandchildren: David, Jesse, Molly, Robert, Michael, Christopher and Nicholas and eight Great Grandchildren: Luna, Parker, Isabella, Maggie, Carson, Laila, Marley and Owen. She will be interred at Houston National Cemetery. Memorial services will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral home at 10:00 AM August 9th with a reception to follow. In Lieu of flowers the family asks donation be made to your local Hospice or favorite charity.
