Marion Kirk Nunn, 72, of Houston died Monday, September 8th with his family by his side following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Richland, SC he was the son of the late John Gregory Nunn and Annie Bell Addison Nunn of Eastover, SC.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Scott, son Cory Scott and wife Jessica, grandsons Tobias and Elias, all of Houston; brother John Gregory Nunn, Jr. and Robert Wayne Nunn of Eastover, SC; sisters Sandra Thrift and Norma Spivey of Eastover and Frances K. Bonham of Charlotte, NC. Marion’s greatest joy was his grandsons. He was a world traveler, enjoyed playing golf and poker, sharing wine with friends, participating in fantasy football, and attending music concerts.
A visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home-Cypress Cr, located at 9149 Highway 6 North, Houston, TX 77095, on September 15, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
