Mark Christopher Covey

He was born on March 28, 1972 in Houston, Texas to James Donald and Mary Karen Schmidtline Covey. He was a resident of Rogers for 29 years after moving from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mark was an IT engineer for TekSynap. He is described by family as a very talented man who had a musical gift. Mark could play any instrument. Not only was Mr. Covey a talented musician who performed locally in two different bands, but his neighbors and friends also held a place in his heart.

Thanksgiving was a special time of year for Mark, as he was always sure to provide meals for those without. He will be missed by all who knew him, including his dog, Misty who went everywhere with him. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph Val and Annamarie Schmidtline; his paternal grandparents, James and Alice Covey.

He is survived by his father, James Covey of Katy, Texas; his mother, Mary Covey of Houston, Texas; his brother, Paul David and wife, Carol Covey of Katy Texas; his brother Joseph James and wife, Danelle Covey of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; one nephew, Alec Joshua and wife, Elissa Covey of Waller, Texas.
