Eddie was a beloved Husband and devoted family man. He was a man of great integrity, quiet strength, and unwavering love for those around him. His legacy lives on in the family he treasured, the stories he told, and the memories made. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, easy smile, and the way he made everyone feel welcomed.
Eddie found peace and happiness on the water, especially aboard his boat in Galveston Bay. That was his sanctuary; a place where he could cast a line, feel the salty breeze, and share his passion with those lucky enough to join him.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn, his daughters Natalie Lashbrook and Cristy Britt, and his grandchildren Mark Longacre, Brittany Longacre, Orion Britt, Emerson Britt, and Preston Longacre.
He was proceeded in death by his sister Lana, brother Joe, and his Parents.
The tide may carry him away from us, but his spirit will remain anchored in our hearts forever.
