Marsha Klein Haas, a woman whose warmth, grace and faith touched countless lives, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, the 25th of January 2025 at the age of 78. Her strong faith was motivated by her favorite verse, John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not parish but have eternal life.”
A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Marsha's greatest joy and proudest achievement was her family. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she nurtured these precious relationships with boundless love, time, and devotion. Distance was no barrier to the deep connections she maintained with her loved ones, as she found countless ways to remain present and involved in their lives.
What truly set Marsha apart was her wonderful sense of humor and unwavering faith, which carried her through life's challenges with remarkable grace. Even in difficult times, her infectious laughter and steadfast belief in God's plan illuminated the path forward, not just for herself but for all those around her. As written in Romans 8:28, she lived by the truth that "in all things God works for the good of those who love him." Her positive spirit was a testament to her deep faith and trust in divine purpose.
Marsha's extraordinary capacity for love and forgiveness was evident in how she navigated life's challenges with grace and dignity. Her genuine warmth and accepting nature created lasting bonds that transcended conventional boundaries, inspiring those around her to be more compassionate and understanding. As written in Colossians 3:12, she truly clothed herself "with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."
Her welcoming smile and open arms made everyone feel like family. She practiced hospitality not as a duty but as a joyful expression of her generous spirit, embodying the teaching from Hebrews 13:2: "Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it." The family extends their deepest gratitude to the compassionate medical team at MD Anderson Cancer Center and the dedicated staff of Houston Hospice and Assisting Hands, especially Keisha, Robin, Gloria, and Gladys. Special appreciation is given to the earthly angels who surrounded Marsha with daily prayers, friendship, and love.
Marsha is preceded in the death by her father Jack Page Tucker and her mother Ann Nelson Hawkshead and her brother Josh Lee Tucker. She is survived by her children Aaron Benjamin Klein and his wife Misty and Jason Tucker Klein and his wife Pam; her grandchildren Aaron, Hannah, Emily, and Connor Klein; her sister, Linda Dewhurst and husband Gene Dewhurst, and a wide circle of family and friends who were blessed to be part of her life.
Marsha graduated in 1964 from Tomball High School, where she was an honor student, cheerleader and named Most Beautiful her senior year. After attending Southern Methodist University, she worked as a legal assistant and volunteered as a child advocate. Her legacy of unconditional love, unwavering faith, and gracious spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her. We believe she was welcomed wholeheartedly into the kingdom of heaven and is now restored and renewed.
