Martha Anna Bell Dickey, affectionately known as "Honey" was born to James Alma McGee and Rufus B. Dickey on April 11, 1941 in Huntsville, Texas. Martha's siblings Benash, Mary Lee, Clara and Johnnie Lee preceded her in death. She has one surviving sibling, Robert Earl.
Martha met and married the love of her life, James Walter Deshone on August 3, 1964. To their union, there were three sons born, Dexter Ray, James Walter, Jr. and Berton Earl.
In 1981, Martha and her husband became Jehovah's Witnesses and both remained faithful servants until their deaths. She was also a full-time pioneer of God's Word for many years.
Martha is survived by her sons: Dexter Ray, James Walter,Jr., Berton Earl; her grandchildren: Queecy, Brandon, Devontae, Demarcus, Alexandra, James; her great-grandchildren: Jamia, Brandon, Jr., Devontae, Jr.. Also she is survived by one brother Robert Earl.
