

Martha was a longtime resident of Houston, Texas and a former first grade teacher. She earned her undergraduate degree from Depauw University in Indiana. She was a faithful member of the Methodist church growing up, while attending Northwoods Presbyterian Church later in her life. She loved spending time with her children and grandkids, playing bridge with her friends, and volunteering for community service. Anyone who ever met Martha would describe her as one of the most loving, kindest, and positive persons they have met.
She was the late daughter of James F. Blair and Florence Burrough Blair of Barbourville, Kentucky. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Lynne Atkins and husband Robert Atkins of Houston, Texas, her son Wendell Stanton Williams and wife Julie Williams of Fulshear, Texas, her grandchildren Robert Blake and Christopher Scott Atkins and wife Bailey, and Wesley Stanton Williams and wife Dagny, and Lauren Elizabeth Williams, and her great-grandsons Owen Robert Atkins, Archie Christopher Atkins, and Walker Stanton Williams.
A memorial service will be held at Brookside Champions Funeral Home on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 11am. The address is 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, TX 77068.
