She is survived by her husband, Joe Cabrera Jr., her daughters, Samantha Cabrera and Alexandra Lawson, and son-in-law Jonathan Lawson and their three children, Jonathan Jr., Ezra Joseph and Olive Inez.
Mary was born February 6, 1952, in Robbstown, Texas. Her family later moved to Houston and Mary attended Sam Houston High School. In 1974, she and Joe married.
Mary worked in banking for 20 years then returned to school and had a long career at Odom Elementary School.
She enjoyed spending time with her family creating lasting memories celebrating holidays, birthdays and the every-day joys of life.
