She retired many years ago from Oak Village Nursing Home as a med-aid. She resided at Surfside beach for many years, then later moved to Onalaska, Texas after the death of her husband, Donald Martin. She is also preceded in death by her grandson, Robert J. Cummings.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynne Cummings of Houston; grandchildren, Michael Callaway of Jones Creek, Toni James and husband Bobby of Richwood; great-grandchildren, Keleigh Cummings, Holly James and Jennifer Crow; and nephew, Mac McArthur and wife Chris of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to her good friend, Tori Arnold for always being there for them. The family will hold a private memorial service.
