Mary Angela Consford

Mary Angela (Wilson) Consford, of Houston, Texas went to her heavenly home on February 26, 2017 at 8:42PM, surrounded by her 5 children, after enduring many medical complications. She was 80 years, 11 months & 23 days of age at the time of her passing.

Mary was born on March 3, 1936 to Charlie and Nina (Gonzales) Wilson in Nacogdoches county Texas. Her father died at an early age in a railroad accident, so she was raised by her mother and her aunt Jorena Gonzales. It was there that she met the love of her life SJ Consford and together they came to Houston Texas to be married on June 9, 1956 to start their new life together. Mary worked hard as a homemaker to raise 5 children and was a good mother to them. She loved going back home to Nacogdoches for visits and her mama made the best chicken and dumplings. She had a special bond with her niece Rita who was more like a sister as they where both raised by Nina. She enjoyed family camping, Loved to play Phase 10 and Mexican Train, loved to eat out at Red Lobster and shopping. She could never have too many shoes or purses! Mary also did volunteer work with the Salvation Army.

Mary is survived by her brother “Rowe” Wilson & spouse Patricia, son David Consford & spouse Kary, daughter Charlotte Villman & spouse Mark, daughter Belinda Karr, son Jimmy Consford and son Michael Consford & spouse Pat. Also, her grandchildren: Jennifer Consford, Jonathan Consford, Rebecca Rogers, Kris Villman, Josh Villman, Sarah Sanchez, Stacey Karr, Katelyn Buitrago, Amy Consford and Shelby Consford. Great grandchildren: Brianna Brown, Audrianna Brown, Zayleigh Keobounheuang, Jillian Consford, Nikolas “Niko” Consford, Riley Tand, Raina Rose, Harley Villman, Taylor Villman, Jacob Sanchez, Olivia Sanchez, Hannah Sanchez, and Benjamin Sanchez.

She also has many nieces and nephews who will miss her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charlie & Nina Wilson, her aunt Jorena Gonzales, husband SJ Consford, her sister Helen Ballard, son-in-law Russel Karr, and her grand daughter Jessica Karr.
