Mary Louise Erwin

Mary Louise Erwin, 79, passed away on January 19, 2024 in Humble, Texas. She was born September 10, 1944 in Houston, Texas to Charles Milam Bloodgood and Sarah Lorene Cox (White). Mary graduated from Humble High School. She met Robert E. Erwin in Humble, Texas and was married in August of 1965. Mary worked as a bus driver for Aldine ISD for 23 years. Mary endured many obstacles in her life, but always overcame them. She was a fighter and independent. Her children and grandchildren admired her for her strength and values. Mary, also known as, Mother, Mom, Mama, and Grandma will be truly missed by her family and friends. She will never be forgotten as her family carries on her wishes and legacy for generations to come.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents: Charles Bloodgood and Sarah L. White; brother: Harold E. Bloodgood; husband: Robert E. Erwin; step father: Henry N. White. Left to cherish her loving memory, daughters: Cynthia Annette Sanders and Debra L. Rice; son: James Robert Erwin & wife Amy Kroll; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister: Bennie Sue Goss; brother: James White.

Visitation for family and friends will begin on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 9am with the funeral service to begin promptly at 10am. Services will take place at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway Houston, Texas 77039. Interment to follow immediately after the funeral service in Brookside Memorial Park.
