

Born September 19, 1918 in Linares Mexico, she and her family returned to the United States in 1936 where she remained for the rest of her life. Mrs. Hay loved life and was a stalwart volunteer who served her community with grace, faith and friendship. An original volunteer at Memorial Assistance Ministries, a loyal Vincentian, St. Cecilia volunteer, Hospice volunteer and taught English in the evening at a local elementary school, leaving her mark on all the lives she touched.
Survived by: her brother, George Ferguson and wife, Bobbie; sister, Ruth LeFluer; children, Christine Willis, Bill Hay, Mary Wessels and husband Bob, Henry Hay and wife Robbi; grandchildren, Mike Willis, Mark Willis and wife Dawn, Sarah Vickers and husband Walter, Richard Hay, Jarrid Hay, Robert Wessels and wife Bethany, Julia Lucksinger and husband Brett, Christopher Hay and wife Leslie, Kenneth Hay and wife Stacy, Joseph Hay; great grandchildren, Trever, Brittany and Ciera Willis, Brooke, Allison and Jake Willis, Bobby, Melonie and Monica Wessels, Rebecca and Kellie Lucksinger, Stephanie Hay, Caleb and Monika Hay; along with numerous loving nieces and nephews and friends. Reunited in death with her husband William Edward and son Richard Bismarck Hay.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 28 from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. with a vigil at 7:00 P.M. at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Mass will be held 10:30 A.M., Monday, November 29 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 11720 Joan of Arc, Houston 77024. A luncheon will be held immediately following. Interment at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery at 1:30 P.M. The family has requested donations be sent to St. Vincent De Paul in lieu of flowers.
