Mary Frankie Frances Weatherby Shaw

Mary attended the University of Denver in Colorado. She was a beloved member of Westbury Baptist Church where she served the community with great devotion. She was also an active member of the Houston Baptist University Guild.

Mary’s greatest passion was sharing the Good News of the Gospel.

She never met a stranger. "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Owens Shaw and son, Gary Cecil Shaw. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra and Jim Parks, Tamara Shaw, and Samantha and Peter Cinelli. She is also survived by sisters, Marian Craig, Doris Engle, and Jean & Bob Craig, seven grandchildren, Jimmy & Eden Parks, William Parks, Jenina & Chad Barnes, Rebecca & Brian Hemphill, Travis Hausinger, Casey Hausinger, and Nathan Lerner. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren Jackson and Carson Parks.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Advantage Funeral Home, 7010 Chetwood Dr. Houston, Texas 77081. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Westbury Baptist Church, 10425 Hillcroft St. Houston, Texas 77096.
