Mary Astor Sims

Mary is survived by; son Gary Sims and his wife Cherie; daughter Elizabeth Hands and her husband Rick; and son Donald Sims and his wife Kathy; grandchildren Tyler Sims, Gary Sims II, Freddie Summers, Traci Rush, Renee Hands and Nick Hands and numerous great-grandchildren..

Mary was preceded in death by her husband William "Bill" C. Sims; daughter Rosemary Roemer and son Dale Allen Mewbourn; mother Rose L. Lopez and father Arthur W. Burris.

A visitation for Mary will be held Monday, December 17, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A graveside service and burial will occur Monday, December 17, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
