

She is survived by four children, Frank Gutkowski, Jr., Dolores Roberts, Barbara Beauchamp and husband David, and Sandra Henry.
Five grandchildren, Terrie Baker and husband Bruce, Kevin Beauchamp, Leslie Henry and husband Jacob Eckert, Tammie Gutkowski and partner Stephanie, Carl Gutkowski and wife Virginia.
Nine great-grandchildren, Riley Baker, Hayden Baker, Wyatt Beauchamp, Skyler Eckert, Cameron Eckert, Jennifer Gutkowski, Brandy Gutkowski, Johnathan Gutkowski, and Brittany Gutkowski.
Two sisters, Laura Stubblefield, Alma Ewald and husband Ernest, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank T. Gutkowski, grandson, Craig Gutkowski, sisters,
Tekla Graborkwitz and Sophie Walenta; brothers, Alois Bienek, Ben Bienek and Mike Bienek; son-in-laws
Roland Roberts and Mike Henry; and daughter-in-law, Patricia Gutkowski.
Matilda loved life. She took pride in all she accomplished. She had a green thumb and loved spending time in her flower garden. In her younger years she was a renown seamstress. She lived an independent lifestyle with a sharp mind and quick wit, always offering an answer or advice. She loved to laugh and spend time with her family. She will be missed by family and friends who loved and cared for her very much.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 5PM to 8PM, with a Rosary at 7PM, at Pat H. Foley & Company, 1200 W. 34th. St., Houston, TX 77018.
A funeral mass will be held at 10AM, Saturday, November 11, 2017 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell Hill, TX. Graveside services will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Chappell Hill, Texas.
Lunch will be provided following graveside services at St. Stanislaus Church Hall.
