Mercedes is preceded in death by her husband, Mahlon J. Demaret, Sr. and survived by her son, Jay and wife Carolyn; grandson, Jason and wife Lorelei; granddaughter, Tiffany and fiance' Mark; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Pat H. Foley & Co. Funeral Home Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 5-8pm with a Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10am with Burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston.
