With profound sadness, the Sirleaf, Gibson, Siryon, Kamara, Toto, Gobah, Dorley, and Dukuly families announce the peaceful homegoing of their mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend Ms. Miatta Jumah Sirleaf. This sad event occurred on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at her home in Cypress, Texas, USA.
Miatta was a graduate of Lamar State College and was a home health pediatric nurse. She shared a very special bond with her patients and their families. She was lovingly referred to by them as “Mimi”.
Miatta is survived by her mother Ms. Georgia Gibson, her daughter Makia Daley and a host of relatives and friends in the United States and Liberia. Miatta was predeceased by her father William Sirleaf.
Funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 11am(CST) at Brookside Funeral Home, 9149 Highway 6 North, Houston, TX 77095.
