Michael Joseph Hyams

Michael Joseph Hyams, 65, of Houston, Texas died peacefully at home on Sunday, March 1st, 2015. Mike was born on February 13, 1950 in Houston to Joseph Michael and Jacqueline Hobbs Hyams who preceded him in death. He loved to fish and be out on the lake and was especially fond of cooking on his grill for family and friends.

Michael is survived by the love of his life, Lisa Chumley of Houston, Texas, his children, Jason (Tabitha) Hyams of Pasadena, Texas, Dawn (Ari) Aryazand of Salt Lake City, Utah, Matt Hyams of Friendswood, Texas, Justin (Amber) Chumley and Jason Chumley of Houston, Texas. His granddaughters, Victoria, Zoe, Ellis and Jozlyn Hyams, Aryauna Aryazand, and Mia Chumley, one sister, Charlotte Hyams of Dallas, Texas, two nieces Lisa (Raj) Krishnan of Dallas, Texas, Kelly (Joe) Amoroso of Denver, Colorado, one great-niece, two great-nephews and a host of family and friends.

A memorial service for Michael will be held on Saturday, March 7th, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Pat H. Foley Funeral home located at 1200 West 34th Street, Houston, Texas 77018. A private burial will be held at a later time.
