Michael Scott Koehn

Mike was born April 5, 1962 in Houston, Texas to Louis and Vara Jane (VJ) Koehn. Mike grew up in the Houston/Cy-Fair area and graduated from Jersey Village High School in 1980. Mike graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a degree in Business Management.

Mike was employed with Koehn & Associates Engineers Inc. where he worked as the Project Field Manager. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing and all outdoor activities. In his free time, Mike enjoyed spending weekends at the families bay house in Sargent, Texas and the families Special “K” Ranch in Mountain Home, Texas.

Mike never met a stranger. He knew someone everywhere he went, no matter where he was. He had a contagious laugh and was always the life of the party. Mike had a special way of showing his friends just how much they meant to him. Mike loved his children. His two daughters were his greatest accomplishments as well as considering himself an extremely lucky man to become a step dad to four other great kids! He was always bragging about all of them.

Mike is preceded in death by his father, Louis R. Koehn Jr.

Mike is survived by his wife Shanna Koehn. Children; Amber Koehn, April Koehn and fiancé Trevor Piccone, Justin and wife Jessica Terry, granddaughter Arleigh Terry, Jason and wife Brandy Terry, granddaughter Ava Terry, Brittany Plaisance and fiancé Jonathon Francis, granddaughters Kenzie Plaisance and Kirsty Francis, grandson Kacin Francis and Brent Bay. Mother, Vara Jane (VJ) Koehn. Siblings Sheryl Koehn, Ronnie Koehn and wife Lynda, and Connie Bryant. Niece Kandy and husband Eli Reddoch, great nephews Garrett and Riley Reddoch, Nieces Ashley Bryant, Heather Koehn and Nephew Colby Bryant.
