Michael Lee Obrien

Mr. O'Brien was born July 10, 1947, in Ironwood, Michigan.

He served our country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1966. He practiced as a licensed barberer before becoming disabled in 1997. He attended Faith Healing Ministries Church, in Houston Texas, where he was an active participant and enjoyed working with the audio-visual equipment, presentations and computer projects.

Michael was a loving husband, father and friend. He cherished the Lord Jesus Christ, his family, friends, his cats, music, computers and God's wonderful world.

The family would like to express gratitude and special thanks to the Accent Care Hospice staff who gave him loving and attentive care in his final days.

Mr. Michael O'Brien is preceded in death by his parents, John Joseph O'Brien and Margaret Lynn La Point, and brother Kelly O'Brien. He leaves behind his loving wife of 32 years, Chandlee Faye O'Brien of Katy Texas, brothers John O'Brien and wife Karen of Hurley Wisconsin, Patrick O'Brien and wife Annie of Germany and sons John O'Brien and Eric O'Brien as well as other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday 10/21/23 at the Fountain of Life Christian Center, 2300 Barker Oaks Drive Houston Tx, 77077 followed by a reception at church.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in Michael's name to the Alzheimer's Association or other chaity of your choice.
