As a young man, Michael moved to Houston and was employed in the engineering section of oil companies that officed in this part of the country.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Malissa Miller, and his partner, Yvonne Miller. Also surviving Michael are his brothers, Daniel and John Rangel and his sister, Cathy Rangel Masterson. A host of surviving relatives and friends in his hometown of San Antonio, Texas and many other places will miss Michael.
Mike was a Christian with a boundless love for his family and friends.
"He may have been small in stature, but, he was a huge presence."
