Mignonne Gaskey

Mignonne was a fourth generation Texan, born in Houston to Elizabeth Davenport Cloud and Guy Cloud. She attended Poe, Lanier and Lamar Schools and then went to Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. She married Frank J Gaskey, Jr. in September 1949. Mignonne was a business woman who helped run the family construction company until her retirement in 2008. The only reason that Mignonne was not your friend was because you had not met her yet. She loved nothing better than a party where she could dance the night away, a group of friends getting together for dinner or a resounding game of bridge. She organized her High School Reunions for the last 30 years and enjoyed every minute of the process. She was able to enjoy her 65th High School Reunion just last month.

Mignonne was preceded in death by her husband, the late Frank J. Gaskey, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Frank J. Gaskey, III, and wife Pam; Guy W. Gaskey; Melissa Noskeau, and husband, Barry; her grandchildren, Michael Noskeau and wife Alma; Rivka Noskeau, William Gaskey; and great grandson Angel. She is also survived by her sisters, Margaret Miles; Camilla Fenner and husband Chuck; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Last but not least, she will be missed by more friends than can possibly be imagined.

A memorial service is to be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, the 12th of June, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.

Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the adjacent Grand Foyer.
