Mike Gregory

Jack Michael “Mike” Gregory passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2010. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on July 12, 1956, the son of Jack L. Gregory and Betty Jo Gregory. He is survived by his devoted wife, Tricia Boren Gregory, and their children Michael B. Gregory and Garrett D. Gregory, his parents Jack L. Gregory and Betty Jo Gregory, his brother Barry J. Gregory and his wife Cathy Gregory, and their children, Cory and Meagan Gregory, and his grandmother Pauline Easlon. He was preceded in death by his brother David L. Gregory and grandparents David and Alta Gregory.

He graduated from the University of Texas Austin in May of 1979 with a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration-Petroleum Land Management. Mike worked for Getty Oil Company, New Orleans, LA from 1979-1984, Petro-Lewis Corporation, Houston, TX from 1984-1987, ARCO Oil and Gas Company Lafayette, LA and Anchorage, AK from 1987-1995, Land Manager for Davis Petroleum, Houston, TX from 1996-2009, Consultant, Houston, TX from 2009-2010.

Mike’s passions include hunting, fishing, outdoor excursions, and most of all spending time at his lake house with family and friends. He will be remembered as a very caring and generous man that loved to make others happy.

A Memorial Service for Mike will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 3:00 PM in the chapel at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. A reception to follow the service at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.
