Milburn John Baker, Jr., 65, passed away from stage 4 Colon Cancer on April 6, 2010 and joined those who preceded him: father Milburn John Baker, Sr. & wife Sarah Baker. He was born in Winnfield, L.A and graduated from LA Tech with a Chemical Engineering Degree. He lived in Houston for over 30 years and was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church, on the board of L.A Tech College of Engineering and on the Research Board of Methodist Hospital. He was formally CEO of United Gas Pipeline Co, President of Arkla Pipeline Company and worked for Gulf Oil Corp for over 20 years. He is survived by his mother, Myrtle Baker; sons, Jamey and John; grandkids: Courtney, Greg, William, Olivia & Mason. Visitation will be from 9AM until the start of the funeral service at 11AM on Saturday, April 10th at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 5401 Fannin, Houston, TX 77004.
