Milton Lawrence Curtis IV

On the beautiful, Sunday, morning of February 4th, 2024, in Hockley, Texas, the lord, God our Father, sent a ‘change of address’ notification to His son, Milton Lawrence Curtis IV, that read, “Curtis, you must vacate this earthly home and take residence in your new home in Glory.” Curtis accepted the invitation and call, stepping into eternity, now among “the great cloud of witnesses”, matriarchs, family and loved ones, walking the streets of gold and thanking God for mercy and Grace!

Milton was born in Houston, Texas to Milton III and Jennifer Curtis on May 11th 1973.

Milton attended public schools in Harris county and graduated from Ross Shaw Sterling High School class of 1991. Milton sealed the union, with the one who captured his heart, by marrying the love of his life, Theresa Marie.Brown, in a celebration of enduring commitment and joy on June 20, 2009 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Milton was a baptized, born again believer and a member of Believers World Outreach Church.

Milton is preceded in death by his father, Milton Lawrence Curtis, Sr.

Milton is survived by his spouse, Theresa Marie Curtis: children, Ciera Tajae Curtis and Grace Marie Lynn Curtis; sister, Latoya Lynn Curtis; mother, Jennifer Lynn Curtis; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William Taff and Delois Marie Brown; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Hassan and Cherise Marie Mohammed; niece and nephews: Gregg and Kailen Marie Hubbard and Micaiah Mylik Brown; grand niece, Jada and grand nephews: Keshawn, Jayce, Drew and Gregg Austin.
