Mr. Leroy Hill

Leroy Hill was born August 11, 1941, third son of Henderson Hill, Sr. and Carrie Phillips-Hill in Onalaska, Texas. Leroy was preceded in death by his wife Lizzie B. Gant-Hill. His father Henderson Hill, Sr., his mother Carrie Hill; his sisters Ethel Haynes, Carrine Hill and Mary Lee Hill-Stephen; his nieces Mary Sandra Johnson and Beverly Rhattenbury; nephew Michael Rhattenbury; brothers Henderson Hill, Jr. and James Edward Hill and nephew Alton Rhattenbury. He was educated in Livingston School System. At an early age he confessed his love for Christ and grew up in a Baptist Church Family, where he later met and married to this union four children were born. He worked as a Tire Shop Owner for 25 years until he retired. Leroy's love for life and respect for mankind ended on September 28, 2015. The angels of the Almighty was dispatched to remove yet another flower from the garden. He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter Barbara Renee Hill-Harris; three sons Terrance Wayne Hill, Charles LaRoy Hill and Raymond Fitzgerald Hill; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; three sisters Ceola Harrell, Edna Benford and Betty Johnson; one brother Paul Hill (Doris) all of Houston, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
