Leola Jones Watkins was born to Tom and Fannie Brown Jones; April 15, 1919 in Brenham Texas. She was the youngest girl baby. Leola was baptized at an early age; the family moved to Houston TX, she joined Lyons Unity Baptist Church under Rev. O.C. Johnson 1964. Leola was joined in matrimony to Lovis Willie Watkins Jr. on August 14, 1965 in Houston, TX no children were born of this union. Leola departed this life on March 4, 2012 at the age of 92. She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Jack, Alvin and Sammy Jones.
