Ms. Melinda Ann Simon

Melinda was born January 25th, 1957 to Mary A. Johnson and Foster Green in Houston Texas. She was the second eldest of eight children. Melinda went on to finish high school and with a son on the way she enrolled in college to build a better life for her and her only child, her son. Melinda was vibrant, kind, loving and humble. She was the kind of person you were blessed to have known. You will be missed. She is preceded in death by her eldest sister, Aniece Simon. Melinda is survived by her mother, Mary Eze, her son, Roshund Simon and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Simon and two grandsons, Dresean Simon and Keyshun Simon, four granddaughters, Destiny Simon, Maria Simon, Michaela Simon and Nevaeh Simon. Melinda also leaves behind three brothers, Cornell Simon, Chesley Simon and Wendell Simon and three sisters, Brenda Simon, Cynthia Simon, and Paula Simon, nieces, Matadi, Tiffany, Free, Deja, Fatima, Deanna, Ariel and Gabby, and nephews Billy, Eddie, Mike and Jerahmia, cousins Edna, Keisha, Frances, Sasha and Johnathan, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
