Nanette Carle Gay

Nanette will be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Joyce Domingue Gay and Robert E. Gay, II. Nanette is survived by her daughter, Joyce Sarah Carle; her twin brother, Robert E. Gay, III and wife, Tracy Banks Gay; and by her brother, Jack P. Gay and wife, Ruth Gay. She is also survived by her six nieces and nephews, as well as numerous family members who will cherish her memory.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six until eight o’clock this evening, Tuesday, the 28th of February, in the Library and Grand Foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.

Her funeral service is to be conducted at eleven o’clock tomorrow morning, Wednesday, the 29th of February, at St. Francis Episcopal Church, 345 Piney Point Road in Houston, where the Rev. Stuart A. Bates, Rector, is to serve as the officiant. Afterwards, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the adjacent Wheatcroft Parish Hall.

The interment service is to follow the reception, via an escorted cortege, at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston.

In lieu of customary remembrances, contributions in Nanette’s memory may be directed to a charity of one’s choice.
