Naoma Ray Mason

Naoma R. Mason passed away peacefully on July 4th among family and friends at Spanish Meadows Nursing Home in Katy Texas. Naoma was born in Gary Texas on October 10, 1918. She moved to Houston at an early age where she met her life long friend and true love John P. Mason. After 20 years of military life together they returned to Texas to live their dream until parted by death. Naoma was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, John P. Mason. She is survived by her two children and their spouses: Marsha and Steve Fox, Richard and Sharron Mason. Naoma was cherished as Granny by her 6 grandchildren and their spouses: Matt and Gina Fox, Amanda and Lonnie Anderson, Bradley Fox, Adam and Joy Mason, Patrick LaLonde, Megan LaLonde and 4 great grandchildren: Steven Anderson, Tristen Anderson, Leah Fox, Cora Fox. She has gone home now to be reunited with my dad in Heaven for eternity. Mom will always be in our thoughts and prayers and one day we will all be together again as a family....

Visitation will be Sunday, July 10, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077. (281) 497-2330. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011 at Houston National Cemetery, 10470 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038 with the Gatetime at 12:00 pm.
