

Ninfa Ruiz Lozolla, age 70, of Houston, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, she left this world peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of memories that her family and friends will forever treasure.
Ninfa was born and raised in Houston, where she built a beautiful life surrounded by family, friends, and community. She dedicated her life to caring for others — both as a caregiver, bus driver, and a beloved Avon representative, roles that showed her dedication to helping and connecting with those around her.
Ninfa loved cooking, baking, gardening, bowling, and spending time with family. She never turned down a trip to Las Vegas to go to the casinos nor a good Astros game. Ninfa was a true Houston Astros fan — no one could cheer louder for her team, especially her favorite player, Kyle Tucker.
Ninfa is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy “Big Jimmy” Lozolla Sr.; her children, Jennifer Cruz, Jimmy Lozolla Jr., Jeremy Lozolla, and Jessica Lozolla; her brother Mark Ruiz; her eight grandchildren; and her four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Guadalupe Ruiz, Adolph Ruiz, Sonny Ruiz, Eloy Ruiz, and David Ruiz.
Ninfa’s legacy will live on through the love of her family and the many lives she touched with her caring heart and joyful spirit. Ninfa will be remembered for her kindness, her humor, her love of family, and the joy she brought to every room. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her best
A visitation for Ninfa will be held Friday, October 17, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087, followed by a celebration of life from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
