Osiel Pulido

Osiel Pulido, aged 68, was born in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico on July 25th of 1955, but he lived most of his lifetime in Houston, Texas. Osiel passed away on September 13, 2023, in The Woodlands, Texas, surrounded by his loved ones.

Osiel was a man of many passions, with a deep love for sports, particularly football and baseball. He enjoyed watching and rooting for his beloved Astros. He also loved to dance and listen to music as it reminded him of his childhood family gatherings. Osiel was a loving father and grandfather. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Survivors include his wife, Dora Pulido and his two sons, Osiel Pulido Jr. and Ricky Pulido, and grandchildren Genevieve Pulido, Ricky Pulido Jr., Ariel Pulido, Sol and Luna Pulido, Zoey Pulido, Diego Pulido, and numerous loving family members and many, many friends also survive.

Serving as pallbearers are Osiel Pulido, Ricardo Pulido, David Pulido, Edwin Guerra, Noe Guerra and Ricardo Pulido, Jr.

A small funeral service will be held from 6:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, September 22, 2023 with the visitation starting at 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A second funeral service will occur Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM. A burial committal will occur immediately following on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Brookside Memorial Park.

The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love and concern shown to them during this time of bereavement.

Osiel Pulido de 68 años de edad nació en Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, México el 25 de julio de 1955 pero vivió la mayor parte de su vida en Houston, Texas. Osiel falleció el 13 de septiembre de 2023 en The Woodlands, Texas, rodeado de sus seres queridos.

Osiel era un hombre de muchas pasiones, con un profundo amor por los deportes, particularmente el fútbol y el béisbol. Disfrutaba viendo y apoyando a sus amados Astros. También le encantaba bailar y escuchar música, ya que le recordaba las reuniones familiares de su infancia. Osiel fue un padre y un abuelo amoroso. Lo extrañaremos mucho y siempre ocupará un lugar especial en nuestros corazones.

Le sobreviven su esposa, Dora Pulido y sus dos hijos, Osiel Pulido Jr. y Ricky Pulido, y sus nietos Genevieve Pulido, Ricky Pulido Jr., Ariel Pulido, Sol y Luna Pulido, Zoey Pulido, Diego Pulido y numerosos familiares y amigos.

Los portadores del féretro serán Osiel Pulido, Ricardo Pulido, David Pulido, Edwin Guerra, Noe Guerra y Ricardo Pulido, Jr.

La familia desea reconocer con profundo agradecimiento las muchas expresiones de amor y cuidados que se les han mostrado durante este momento de duelo.
