Palmea Del Soape

Pam is survived by her son, Gregory Soape; daughter, Serena Soape; and granddaughters, Kelsey Soape and Hannah Soape.

Pam was born on August 9, 1952 in Houston to O’Dell Thornton and Audrey Martinez. She graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1970. She married Larry Soape in 1971 and travelled the world as a sailor’s wife before settling back down in Houston in 1976. The couple welcomed two children into their home and she set about teaching them ethics and values of hard work. Her children remember her as strict but fair who actively encouraged them to pursue their goals and ambitions.

Pam was a dedicated and loyal individual who loved her family and worked hard in her accounting career. She was an active and dedicated member of the Girl Scouts of America and Boy Scouts of America and often volunteered at these functions during her free time.

A small Private Memorial Service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. June 6, 2020 at American Heritage Funeral Home at 10710 Veterans memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. Attendance is limited and will be by invitation only, but will be live-streamed for all to view on https://www.facebook.com/AmericanHeritageFuneral/ .
