December 1, 1941 – November 1, 2025
Patricia “Pat” Clayton Bramlett, age 83, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025.
Born in San Antonio, Texas, on December 1, 1941, Pat spent her early childhood in Tampico, Mexico, before her family settled in Houston in 1951. She was the beloved daughter of the late Charles William Clayton and Beatriz Ravize Clayton.
After graduating from Marian High School, Pat attended the University of Houston. She went on to build a rich and fulfilling life centered on faith, family, and community. She married her late ex-husband, Samuel Nicholas Bramlett, and together they raised three children in Quail Valley, Missouri City.
She was a devoted mother to Kimberly Bramlett, Chuck Bramlett and wife Lori, and Trish Milstead and husband Lyle. She was lovingly known as “MiMi” to her grandchildren: Alex Drum and husband Dylan, Michael Milstead and wife Abby, and Bronson, Clayton, and Tatum Bramlett. She also leaves behind her loving companion, Tom Schmitt, and her cherished fur baby, Max.
Pat dedicated much of her professional life to the country club industry in Fort Bend County, working for Quail Valley, Sugar Creek, and finally Riverbend Country Club, where she found her calling as Membership Director. Her warmth, charm, and ability to connect with others made her a beloved figure in the community.
She was known for her fun-loving spirit, infectious laughter, and the joy she brought to every gathering—often arriving with chips, queso, and her favorite dip, accompanied by a margarita or a glass of her favorite boxed wine. She had a deep love for the beach—the sun, the sand, and the soothing sound of the waves brought her peace and happiness. Later in life, she found joy in traveling, especially on cruises along the coasts of Mexico, where she felt most at home.
Pat’s faith was the foundation of her life. A devout Catholic, she was a long-time member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Missouri City. A full Mass celebrating Pat’s life will be held at Saint Cyril of Alexandria Catholic Church in Houston, Texas, on November 24 at 1:00 PM. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and honor her beautiful legacy.
Pat will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in her name to a local no-kill animal shelter, such as Lola’s Lucky Day www.lolasluckyday.com or Saving Pups of Texas www.savingpupsoftexas.org MiMi had a huge heart for animals, and nothing would bring her more joy than helping those in need.
