Patricia Anne Couch, born on July 8, 1930, passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 95. Patty and her husband, Ken, raised three daughters, adored 4 granddaughters, and further welcomed four great grandchildren. Ken was happy, as he finally got two boys as great grandchildren!
Patty was incredibly involved in both her children’s lives, as well as her grandchildren. She was a leader in Bluebirds and Campfire Girls in Louisiana and Girl Scouts in Maryland.
Ken had the opportunity to travel and work on an offshore platform in Scotland. Undaunted, Patty traveled to live in The Hague, Netherlands and then on to Dundee, Scotland. During this time and after Ken’s retirement, they traveled the globe-Egypt and Kenya, Japan and China, South America, and Australia, among many others.
After retirement, Patty and Ken volunteered at West Houston Hospital. They were a duo and much loved!!
Patty will be missed as a truly special Mom, Grandma, and Friend.
