Patricia Ogle Greco

She graduated from Carr Central in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Following high school, she attended Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, Mississippi. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Education in 1957.

It was while working on her bachelor’s that she met John Antonio Greco, later marrying him on December 22, 1956. She was the proud mother to Susan Marguerite, born on March 15, 1958, Mary Frances, May 6, 1960, and Ellen Marie, November 12, 1964.

She enjoyed an early career as a teacher, before switching her lifetime focus to being a devoted wife and mother.

She spent many joyful hours working on arts and crafts and as a member of the Prime Timer’s Senior Group at St. Cecilia Church. Christmas was an especially favorite time of year. Among her hobbies were collecting angels, dolls, and piggy banks.

Pat was a kind, thoughtful, and caring person who touched many lives, most importantly, her family. She will be remembered as a loving and dedicated wife, mother, sister, and aunt.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 4:30pm, American Heritage Funeral Home at 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038. A funeral mass is scheduled for Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 11:00am, St. Cecilia Catholic Church at 11720 Joan of Arc Drive, Houston, Texas 77024. Following at 2:00pm, interment will take place at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038
