Patricia Wild

Patricia Gildey Wild, 68, of Katy, Texas, passed away while traveling in the South Pacific on February 23, 2010. Pat Wild was born in Pittsburg, PA, on December 7, 1941 to Leo Francis Gildea, deceased, and Helen Cielen, deceased. She married Ken Wild and began to raise her family there before moving to Katy in 1977. She was a founding parishioner of Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church. She worked as the Records and Archives Director for Memorial Hermann Healthcare System before her retirement in 2000. She had a passion for sharing her travel experiences with her family. She was survived by her four children Marigrace Villarreal; K.J. Wild; Sarah Ann Tolbert; and Helen Norris. Ten grandchildren including Michael; Francis; Dominic; Isabella; Carmella; Rachel; Mary Catherine; Elizabeth; Kieran; and Rowan. Visitation and viewing is from 5:00 until 8:00PM Monday and Tuesday at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM Wednesday at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church 1530 Norwalk Drive, Katy, Texas 77450. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances be offered to the Patricia Wild Memorial Scholarship at the University of St. Thomas.
