Patsy LaRue Hayes

Patsy was preceded in death by her father, Clark Williamson; mother, Bernice Borris-Dasher; husband, Wendell Hayes; daughter, Denice Moon; grandson, Vince Degatire and great granddaughter, Stetson Dunlap.

She is survived by her loving children, Faron DeWayne Young and wife Shelly; Farrah Rochelle Knoblock and husband Jonathan; Bryan Charles Young and wife Kacie; and Jason Wendell Hayes and wife Daniella. She is also survived by her brother, Clark “Corky” Williamson, and his wife Elizabeth.

Patsy was a proud grandmother to Rebecca (Oscar), Blake (Kristen), Alexis (Hunter), Ethan (Trinity), Haleigh, Madison, Tucker, Hannah, Andrew, Jett, and Rocket.

Great grandchildren to Isla, Atlas, Jade, and Wesley

Patsy spent many years caring for others as a nurse... a profession that perfectly matched her giving nature. Though life brought challenges and distance at times, she always loved her family deeply and treasured the moments spent together. She enjoyed eating out, especially Mexican food, and never passed up a good deal. Patsy was known for her generosity and for showering her loved ones with thoughtful gifts and little surprises that showed how much she cared.

A visitation will be held at the Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, located at 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077, in the Memorial Mission Mausoleum on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m.

She will be laid to rest at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. Patsy will be remembered for her caring heart, her humor, and her love for family... expressed in her own unique way.
