Patsy Jeanne (Kilman) Landers

Patsy Jeanne Kilman Landers was born in Houston, Texas, on April 7, 1937, to parents, Nila Steed Kilman and Fred Kilman. She went to be with the Lord on February 9, 2024, after a challenging battle with cancer. Pat was preceded in death by her youngest son, Terry Mesecher. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 42 years,Jim Landers, who was always by her side. She also leaves behind her oldest son, Rick Mesecher and wife, Pam. Grandchildren include Christine Dykes, Jordon Nicosia, and Taylor Mesecher. Pat was a loving mother & grandmother. She managed to graduate from U of H, as a teacher, while raising her two sons and running two roller rinks. She taught grade school for 11 years. Later she worked side by side with her husband,facilitating financial investments for South-Port Systems for approximately 30 years. Pat retired after the company was purchased by a Fortune 500 company. Pat was a lover of the arts, and history, and researched her Kilman family tree, who hail from Aberdeen,Scotland. Pat and her husband loved traveling the world. She was multi talented, played the piano,had exquisite taste, and a good sense of humor. Pat was an intelligent, strong, organized force to be reckoned with and her strength and support will be missed by all her family, friends and loved ones.

A visitation for Patsy will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 11720 Joan of Arc Dr, Houston, TX 77024. A committal will occur Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 12:30 PM, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079.
