I remember I cried to you when I first found out I was pregnant and you held me and rubbed my back as I cried on your chest and told me you weren’t worried that I’d be the best mom. I remember us getting snacks and watching a movie with sabbath and you felt her kick for the first time. I still remember your smile and laugh.

I bought my dad this ring years ago for Father’s Day. To show him that I loved him so much. He wasn’t my blood but will always be my dad. He raised me with such love and I’ll hold that forever. I’ll miss you forever and I love you forever dad.

On December 15th, 2023,  you came into my life when I least expected it — and from that moment on, you surrounded me with love. I didn’t realize how much I needed you until our eyes met. The moment our eyes locked, the rest of the world disappeared. It was just us.
That night felt magical. The music was loud, yet somehow, we had a full conversation as if no one else existed. You walked me to my truck, opened my door, made sure I got home safely, and ended the night with a three-hour conversation that made me forget about time.
Then came December 16th, at 6:30 a.m. That was the moment I knew — you were the one. From that day forward, we were inseparable. You became my comfort, my strength, my hope, my protector, and my peace. Most of all, you became my other half.
Your strength gave me courage to face anything. Your love made me believe in the beauty of life again. You reminded me that I was worthy of happiness, of love, of all the good things I once doubted. Every smile you shared, every laugh we had, made me want to be a better version of myself.
Before you, I never truly understood what it meant to be equally yoked — to walk side by side, lifting and grounding each other in perfect balance. Our time together was a gift from God, one that I will cherish forever. Every memory, every touch, every look, every word — they live within me.
I’ll be honest — I feel cheated of the moments we didn’t get to make, of the future we dreamed about. But I also know that this isn’t goodbye. A love like ours doesn’t end; it simply changes form. One day, our souls will find each other again.
Until then, I’ll carry you with me — in every sunrise, every quiet moment, every beat of my heart.
