Paul Leslie Murray

Paul Leslie Murray, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 30th, 2025, at the age of 60, surrounded by his loved ones.

Paul was born on June 2nd, 1964, the son of Annie B Murray and Murphy Plummer. He lived a life full of love, kindness, and dedication to those around him. Throughout his life, Paul displayed an unwavering commitment to his family, his friends, and his community.

He leaves behind his wife/partner Edna Graves, with whom he shared 39 years of joy and companionship. Paul was a proud father to Sheena Graves, Anthony Graves Sr. (Dominique) Dominique Martin, and a cherished grandfather to April Graves, Anjel Graves, Alyvia Graves, Anthony Graves Jr., Alexander Graves, Reign Davis, and Lauryn Lee. Paul is survived by sisters Gladys Hall, Sandra Murray (Robert), Charlotte Murray and Brothers Johnnie Byars, Thomas Byars, and Horace Murray.

He was known for his wisdom, his warmth, and his infectious sense of humor, always quick to make others laugh with his quick wit and genuine heart.

He found great fulfillment in listening to music, shooting and collecting guns, and spending time with his grandkids.

Paul’s legacy will live on through his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He touched the lives of many with his integrity, generosity, and compassion. In his passing, Paul leaves behind a world that is better for having had him in it.
