Pauline Barbara Dobson

Polly, as everyone knew her, was born on the 8th of April 1935 and raised in New York City. She graduated from the New York School of Performing Arts, eventually ending up working for CBS Network where she met her late husband, Ronald Francis Dobson.

Polly moved to Houston from Florida in 2012 to be closer to her family. She was actively involved with the art committee in the residential high-rise where she lived, and loved her luncheon group from the building, who would often go to various restaurants around Houston.

Most importantly she loved her family, her two children, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Her husband, Ronald Francis Dobson, passed away on the 30th of July, 2014.

She is survived by her daughter Dawn Bulterman and her husband, Fred of Manvel, TX; son Thomas A. Dobson II and his wife, Miranda Stokes of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Patrick Dobson, Jacob Dobson, Lindsay Bulterman Cerasa and her husband Matt, Tyler Bulterman; and great-grandchildren, Luke Cerasa, Maddy Cerasa, and Chloe Cerasa.

A memorial service is to be conducted at three o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, the 16th of December in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.

Immediately following, all are invited to gather with the family and share remembrances of Mrs. Dobson during a reception in the adjacent grand foyer.
