

She was born on the 9th of November 1929 in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Lamar High School and began a career with the Houston Independent School District and retired as a Administrative Secretary. Peggy loved to be around people and travelled extensively. She was a volunteer at Community National Bank in Bellaire for many years and was a Member of the Bellaire United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed spending time at their beach house in Surfside fishing and crabbing with her husband Willie.
She is preceded in death by her husband, the late Willie Robert Marasek, Sr. Her survivors include her sons, Jim and Jennifer Marasek, John Marasek and Willie and Joan Marasek. She also leaves behind four granddaughters; seven grandsons; four great grandsons; two great granddaughters; and a niece, Mary Adams.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from ten until eleven o’clock in the morning, Friday, the 2nd of December, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston. The funeral service is to follow at eleven o’clock with the Rev. Jim Flagg, Senior Pastor of Bellaire United Methodist Church, officiating.
Mrs. Marasek is to be interred, during a private ceremony, at the Houston National Cemetery, with her husband Willie.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorials in Mrs. Marasek’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Houston and Southeast Texas Chapter, 2241 West Holcombe Blvd, Houston, TX, 77030-2008
